Had work today with dot,i only found out after lunch and was late for soccer practice(like 2 and a half hours late!!!) but well,played two games with the rest.Scored at least 2 or 3 goals for the day but sprained my ankle.Can't really walk properly but should be fine by next week.I have to be fit for athletics next week.Supposed2train during weekends when everyone is back but my leg!!!sigh,i think i need to do some work with dot and also with my books soon.We have a few more days before uni starts again which means more work to do and more studies to catch up on.I cant believe we only have 6 weeks to finals.I think im exaggerating.Well,went to the picasso exhibition today.After 5pm,we have a student price($10)with free food and wine(had none)but it was really worth it.It was great!!!Picasso is a very unique artist.His paintings are juz very interesting and abstract.Hidden meanings...Went to krispy kremes on collins st aft dat to get some donuts.Goodie,yummy.Well,work2moro morning at 10am,its 12.45am now so sleep sleep sleep...zzzzzzzzzz

I've thought about whether or not i should stay in IH:-

Reasons why I should stay:
1. I have earned alot of points to move into a better room
2. I have done so much in IH and i hope to contribute more
3. I have lots of "friends"
4. There are tutors to help me in my work(most of dem = maths)

Reasons why I should not stay:
1. It is too expensive
2. I have no one to move in with
3. It's 20 minutes away from uni(by foot)
4. No position in the student club
5. I may not be oweeker
6. I may not get a better room
7. My close friends are staying in college square swanston
8. I have not many close friends in IH (coz they're either always away or im too busy with uni work&may not be around)

So,in conclusion,i guess i wont be staying in IH next year.

Friday was sunny and windy eventhough the weather forecast stated that there will be high winds and may be drizzling a bit.We took a train to brighton beach station which was incredibly close to the beach.BME ppl practically took over the beach.Why?Coz it was empty!!!Haha.It was fun,played soccer and threw a few ppl into the freezing water(yes,u oscar!)And yes,they threw me in as well lolz.Water was about less than 10 degrees,i assume coz it was FREEZING COLD.The beach was clean though but there were juz too many shells around so it was quite painful.The most painful part was when the wind was sooooo strong,the sand was flying all over the place and it was quite painful.Our backs were painful,we had to protect ourselves from the sand.But it was a kewl place to chill and lie around(only after the wind stop blowing).After that,we had lunch in red rooster and then it started raining!Haha,thank God it was after our funtime on the beach.Overall,it was a great time.I needed it!!!

Friday 15th of September was the day Biomed Eng and Biomed Sc students had their first ever biomed ball!Well,for the 1st n 2nd yrs of BME i guess.The ball was quite ok,not so fantastic coz of the music played but the afterparty at lavish was great.I think the first yrs reali enjoyed themselves.We got back at approximately 5am in the morning and i think i slept around 6am.Only to be woken up by a phone call from one of my parents(i can't remember who..i think it was my dad).Had lunch,den slept again and went for self help.Vincent's bday celebration was in blvd at nite.It wasnt too bad but the only problem was the dance floor was sooooo packed with ppl i could hardly move at all.Thank God i didnt drink too much.I was a bit tipsy but it didnt really hit me that bad.I got home safely thanks to winnie,dave and ally.I was not drunk btw.haha.Met up with a few taylor's ppl including denny,jerry,elaine,mayn etc.Vincent's cousin and gf were there too.Guess it was a great nite or should i say morning.Happy,Happy bday vince!!!

Yes,it's right.Tomorrow is the last day before our holiday!!But sadly,its only for2weeks and its not actually holiday but time to study for finals and at the same time,i've to work with Dotti.I've been in the holiday mood since MST ended and its such a relief.Results were not so bad considering I've been busy with so many things.I think I have to concentrate on my finals especially CPA!!!I'm so thrilled my family is coming a week after the hols and I can't wait!!!I'll bring my sis to lectures haha so that she knows WHAT UNI WILL BE LIKE!!WAHAHAHA!!*evil laugh* But at least she gets to meet all the friends i hang out with and IH people.

And yes,another thing I'm so looking forward to is Biomed Ball.I don't know why I'm excited about it.Maybe because it'll be on the first day of our holidays.After monday,I've to get back to work.Many things to catch up on and things to do.I still feel 2weeks isnt enough for anything.lolz..it's like study period not relaxing period.swt.Well,signing off now.=)

Wow it has only been 3 months since Shiv has been here and he juz left yesterday.I think everyone is feeling abit sad and lost coz IH has just been missing a person who was so friendly,outgoing and cheerful.It has been great knowing him and YES SHIV,I HOPE YOU READ THIS(We all miss ya!)Life in IH seems a bit empty with alot of people leaving,the seniors,the senior freshers,the freshers...well,i hope things will turn out well for them.I think all of this memories will be treasured alot and i do hope i'll meet marco,hector,shiv,and the seniors(chandy and ray)one day...

Well well well,I ran for international liaison officer yesterday and I guess I didnt get the position.Devastated and sad but well,this are the things i did in IH for the past 8 months.Extremely sad i didnt get the position coz i contributed so much to this college and the people and juz felt that everything i did juz goes to waste.I know i'll contribute more but i dun think i'll have the same drive or motivation i once had.

1. Cafe Internationale - Saturday Night Fever dance performance
2. Paintings - 2 paintings for Dutch National Night
- Painting coordinator for Jamaican National Night
3. Deco for IH ball
4. Performances - Choir for Jamaican National Night and Sang for Malaysian Night
5. Open Day - showed students and parents around IH from 1-4pm
6. Sports - Soccer, Softball,Swimming and will be doing athletics
7. O weekender - help show students around and participated in room cram and magical mystery tour
8. Holidays - arranged group outings especially for paintball(dun think dats counted tho)
9. Support for sports - soccer,volleyball and badminton
10. Subcommittee and deco coordinator of International Engineering Students Society, Member of Street Latin Dancesport Club, Member of MOMU(Malaysians of Melbourne Uni), member of table tennis club.
11. participated in ICAC Art competition
12. cultural committee in IH - 1st semester
